13-year-old Matthew of Cape Girardeau, Missouri wished for a Mickey Mouse-themed bedroom which was unveiled on August 28, 2010. Matthew’s 14th birthday happened to be the next day, so to celebrate both events, volunteers and family enjoyed BBQ and cake. Matthew chose furniture from the popular Attic Heirlooms collection, as well as a leather chair for his caregiver.
 

9-year-old Alanna of Matthews, N.C., has a life-threatening medical condition. As a result, she spends more time in her bedroom than most young girls her age. So it's not surprising that when the Make-A-Wish Foundation came to her and asked what she wished for, she chose a bedroom makeover. Alanna’s wish was granted when volunteers from Broyhill Furniture, Furnitureland South and the Make-A-Wish Foundation unveiled her updated, fairy-themed room, complete with bedroom furniture from the Pleasant Isle collection, on July 27, 2010.

16-year-old Fred of Trenton, New Jersey wished for new bedroom furniture with a more grown up look. On August 13, 2010, volunteers from Jack’s Famous Furniture, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and Broyhill unveiled his new room, complete with furniture from the stylish Perspectives collection. Fred was excited to see the new furniture in his room and will surely enjoy his superb new slumber space for years to come.

Susana, a 17-year-old high school junior from Apple Valley, CA who was diagnosed with a severe kidney condition, received her dream room on July 16. Broyhill Furniture and the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, along with the help of Mathis Furniture, helped make her wish come true when they unveiled her new zebra-themed room, complete with furniture donated by Broyhill from the  Westlake collection.

18-year-old Amber from New York is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments and is looking forward to her new bedroom. During a recent trip to Rosa's Home Stores in upstate New York, Amber fell in love with the Pleasant Isle collection. Since Amber’s room has recently been expanded, she used the room planner tool on broyhillfurniture.com to reconfigure her bedroom layout. Broyhill is helping grant Amber’s wish by donating a Pleasant Isle suite for her bedroom and a few Coastal Way pieces for her entertainment area.
